1969 - Innovation and Internationalization
Invention and launch of the push-in fitting, a concept that has since been adopted worldwide. LF 3000 push-in connections from Legris SA were selected by a Jury of the trade Press as one of the "major innovations of the last 40 years".
The start of its entry into international markets by the creation of an industrial unit in Spain and a sales subsidiary in Great Britain.
In the period from 1969 to 2006, Legris SA has established over 30 sales and industrial sites worldwide.
1988 – Legris, a division of Groupe Legris Industries
1994 – Certified quality
ISO 9001 certification of all Legris sites in FranceIn the period from 1994 to 2000, 11 Legris SA sites worldwide have been certified ISO 9000.
1996 - 1997 – Creation of Legris Transair and Legris Autoline
From the technology of push-in fittings, Legris SA designed, developed and launched under the Transair® brand, compressed air pipework systems which can be assembled immediately and are easily modified – “the intelligent compressed air systems”.
The year after, creation of the Legris Autoline subsidiary, dedicated to the automobile 1st assembly activity ( light vehicles and heavy goods vehicles ).2000 – 2001 – Legris reinforces its role in the business of connectics
With the purchase of the Bell-Hermetic company –3rd German manufacturer of high pressure connections- Legris extends its activities to the hydraulic market and offers a wider range to its customers. Legris establishes itself for the first time in south-America with the creation of Legris do Brasil. Then, Legris creates its 5th subsidiary in Asia: Legris India.
2003 - A subsidiary in South Africa
Legris establishes itself for the first time in Africa with the creation of Legris South Africa.
2004 - DiNova, Legris' first high pressure innovation
Just 2 years after joining the hydraulic market, Legris launches a new ring for high pressure fittings -called DiNova. It offers a definite opportunity of differentiation and is an important chapter in Legris' development within the hydraulic market.
